What Am I Tasting?

A red that shows dried red fruit and plenty of cedar and vanilla … What could it be?

Our blind tasting game—without the tasting! Can you identify a wine just by reading its tasting note? We post real Wine Spectator reviews. You use clues such as color, aromas, flavors and structure to figure out the grape, age and origin. Good luck!

Tasting Note: A silky texture carries harmonious flavors of dried cherry, forest floor, cedar and vanilla in this traditional red. Orange peel acidity and well-integrated tannins keep it focused. Plump, but has backbone.
