Thirty-seven floors up, atop Two Liberty Place in Center City West, R2L provides an exciting Philadelphia dining experience, and not just because of the breathtaking panoramic views and zebra-printed couches. Chef Daniel Stern—who was trained by the likes of Daniel Boulud and Jean-Georges Vongerichten—crafts upscale, new American crowd-pleasers like grilled truffle flatbread and spice-crusted roasted tuna loin. Wine director and general manager Brittney Hough’s Award of Excellence–winning wine program offers 155 selections with strengths in California, Italy and France. The list offers especially strong Champagne options, with nearly 30 selections from Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug and various grower producers. And with plenty of bottles priced below $80, R2L has something to offer for everyone.
