Nestled in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood near landmarks like the Hancock tower and Trinity Church, Post 390 is a two-story, 350-seat restaurant with a farm-driven, locally sourced menu. The first floor, known as “The Tavern,” accommodates a vibrant bar scene, with a cozy and contemporary blend of dim lighting, wood walls, iron fixtures and fireplaces. Upstairs, an open kitchen concept, floor-to-ceiling windows and glass-enclosed wine cellar give guests plenty to observe during their visit. The Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence–winning restaurant offers a 390-selection wine list showcasing regions like France, California and Italy. To satisfy a variety of style and price preferences, Post 390 offers more than 20 by-the-glass options that range from $9 to $22. Most recently, beverage manager Jason Percival has been concentrating on improving and emphasizing the restaurant's wine selections from Oregon.

Regions like Beaujolais, the Rhône and Tuscany also have a strong presence on the list. Chef Nick Deutmeyer’s New England diver scallops with creamy potato risotto and spring pea nage pair well with a Domaine Huët Vouvray Moelleux, and a glass of the Basalte Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir from Oregon’s Willamette Valley is a good choice for the venison tartare and quail yolks dish. Post 390 is part of Himmel Hospitality Group, which owns Grand Award winner Grill 23 & Bar in Boston, as well as Best of Award of Excellence winners Harvest in Cambridge, Mass., and Bistro du Midi in Boston.
