For our 2022 video contest, our finalists shared their tales about their love of wine—what it means to them, how they enjoy it, celebrate it and even commit their lives to it. (A big thank you to every entrant for sending us their stories, from the heartfelt to the humorous.) Get ready to laugh, recognize a bit of yourself and be inspired!

The finalists span some of our viewers' favorite wine regions, from California to Italy, and feature many well-loved wine names.
1st Place: Cabernet Tonight
Channeling the spirit of Broadway, this musical parody from first-time entrant Steve Jacobson takes you through the fun world of wine.
2nd Place: Full Circle
A special piece of land has been in Jennifer Higgins’ life since she was 12 years old. After pursuing a career in winemaking, she landed at the very winery that would buy and plant that property to grapevines. A story of how some things in life are kismet.
3rd Place: Bold Vision
A man and his family pursue their dream of a life of adventure—living in the wild, riding horses and caring for the land. They choose Pope Valley, Napa’s “last frontier,” to grow fine wine.

Prizes
The winner receives a pair of tickets to the weekend-long Wine Spectator New York Wine Experience in 2022 or 2023.
