John Shafer on Relentless: Wine of the Year, 2012

In 1972, John Shafer decided to leave Chicago and buy a vineyard in Napa Valley. Forty years later, with son Doug and winemaker Elias Fernandez, Shafer made Wine Spectator's Wine of the Year. Here is his acceptance speech.
