Lynn Penner-Ash

Lynn Penner-Ash’s early wine life led her to winemaking positions at California’s Domaine Chandon, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars and Chateau St. Jean in the early 1980s. But it was her move in 1988 to the Willamette Valley’s Rex Hill Vineyards as one of the region’s first women winemakers that really set her iconic career in motion.

In 1998, she started Penner-Ash Wine Cellars with her husband, Ron, while she was still at Rex Hill as the President and CEO. In 2005, Lynn and Ron designed and built their namesake estate winery. She has served on the board of IPNC as well as the Oregon Pinot Camp Board of Directors.
