Producers on Mount Etna climb to greater heights with vigor and determination

After World War II, much of Sicily's Mount Etna's vineyard acreage was abandoned and expertise in agronomy and enology specific to the region and its grape varieties dissipated. But recently, new investment and participation from wine producers (local and outside) have garnered the region skyrocketing attention and success. Wine Spectator's Alison Napjus explains.
