Background Story: Sidney is a rescue from a kill shelter in N.C. She was flown to our local shelter where another family wanted her. They had a family emergency and asked to have her go to the next in line. We eagerly drove the two hours to pick Sidney up. When we travel, we have to find a pet sitter who will let Sidney sleep in bed with them, otherwise she howls all night!
