Fresh, balanced whites emerge from early harvests in 2019 and 2020

With the 2019 and 2020 vintages, Burgundy enjoyed two precocious growing seasons, the former hot and the latter notably dry. Despite the difficult conditions, the white wines from both years show balance and refinement, particularly the 2020s, which in general feature higher acidities and greater precision than the 2019s.
