For guitarist Jimmy Stafford, a road trip is a wine journey
From the Mar 31, 2011, issue

As lead guitar player for San Francisco-based pop group Train, Jimmy Stafford has spent over a decade on the road in support of the Grammy Award-winning band's hit albums and songs. Along the way, Stafford, 46, developed a passion for wine, blogging about his finds and connecting with fans over good bottles. Stafford spoke with Wine Spectator associate editor Jennifer Fiedler about the unorthodox way he built his collection, the best countries for wine on the road, and his plans for a new cellar.
