More than 40 years after striking out on his own, Aldo Conterno's wines continue to set a benchmark for the power and grace only great Barolo can deliver. His single-vineyard Barolos-Cicala, Colonnello and Romirasco-as well as his Barbera, Conca Tre Pile, and his reserve Barolo, Gran Bussia, are highly sought after. What's more, he has passed his ambition and his courage on to his sons, who continue to improve upon his vision. His iconic Italian winery is an American dream come true.
