The Creep of Cannabis

The Creep of Cannabis
Bill Reitzel James Laube
Dec 31, 2018

James Laube believes that there is trouble brewing in wine country. While cannabis is still illegal in most states, possession is legal in California and a dozen other states, several of them also committed to winegrowing. Therein lies the conflict. California, Oregon and Washington are all venues where weed vs. wine has become a point of contention on issues ranging from land use to law enforcement, health policy to taxes, touching a deep cultural nerve about what is and isn't acceptable in our public and private lives.
