Bordeaux is well-known for its red wines, yet as recently as the 1960s most of the region's grapes were white. This is no longer the case today as many winemakers only plant white grapes in locations best-suited for them. This has significantly increased the quality of the region's whites, as this week's selection of 2019s shows.
