This June, Spain will come to France, as “A Taste of Spain” gathers more than 100 of the country’s top wineries and a dozen of its top restaurants, to present an unprecedented showcase in Bordeaux for Spain’s dynamic culture of food and wine.
The tasting will be the marquee event for the 2017 edition of Vinexpo, the leading international exhibition for wine and spirits professionals, which has named Spain its “country of honor” this year.
Wine Spectator, Vinexpo’s partner in the event, has selected the wineries, which include top estates and historic bodegas from all of Spain’s important wine regions. The restaurants have been chosen by culinary co-chairs Ferran Adrià of Spain and José Andrés of the United States. The event will be held in Bordeaux’s majestic Palais de la Bourse, for 1,500 invited guests.
