Signing Off

Jul 18, 2008

First of all, my apologies, fellow bloggers and blog readers. I've been so busy with babysitting the vineyards and blending the 2007 juice that I forgot to blog. This is probably a good time to sign off and focus on the work, since technically this blog is supposed to be about me traveling around the globe and Over Indulging. (If there is such a thing—sounds like a Bigfoot story to me.)

It has been an absolute honor to be a part of this journal. Writing these little entries has helped me gather my thoughts, assess where my feet are currently landing, and focus my intent for where they will go next. Fantastic opportunity and exercise. And your support, advice and input has been very helpful and much appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Please check in on my two ventures at www.caduceus.org (the journal section) and www.azstronghold.com (the blog section) to see how things are developing. Especially those of you who are starting from scratch in new and uncharted winemaking and grapegrowing territory. There are many big and interesting events occurring.

For the pioneers, the best advice I can offer (which actually requires far too much space to explain) is this: If someone, such as a broker or a distributor, uses the words "Industry Standard," just smile and walk away. ("THE SLEEPER MUST AWAKEN!!!")

Once again, thank you all so much for reading/listening.
