In the beverage alcohol industry, many companies and brands have deep roots and long traditions, but as in any industry, fundamental changes occur on a daily basis. To help keep members of the trade up to date, Shanken News Daily will deliver breaking news, in-depth research and expert analysis covering wine, spirits and beer. The free Internet publication launches on April 26.

Shanken News Daily is published by M. Shanken Communications, Inc., which has been the leading news portal on the beverage alcohol industry since its founding, in 1972. The company also publishes Wine Spectator, Malt Advocate, Impact Newsletter and Impact Databank, Market Watch and Food Arts, and will draw on these collective resources for the new email newsletter. It will include breaking news from around the world; proprietary data on beverage alcohol brands, companies and categories; and exclusive interviews with leading industry figures.

“This is an exciting new development for our company, which fulfills a long-held goal to be the leading source of daily news on wine, spirits and beer,” said Marvin R. Shanken, chairman of M. Shanken Communications, Inc. “It is now possible for us to provide up-to-the-minute news to our readers no matter where they are around the world.”

Shanken News Daily will be available at no charge to members of the beverage alcohol industry. Sign up to subscribe at http://lp.shankennewsdaily.com/email.
