Though many states allowed alcohol-to-go sales during peak pandemic time, many are rolling back on regulations.

In 2020, states across the U.S. enacted new regulations to allow restaurants to sell wine to go, a lifeline as dining rooms were shut due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the economy has reopens, states are reevaluating those takeout rules, often leaving restaurant staff confused and worried about the future of their businesses.
