The Grace restaurant burst onto the Chicago restaurant scene in December 2012, with chef Curtis Duffy bringing his own style and a gaudy Chicago dining résumé that includes sous-chef stints with Grant Achatz at both Trio and Alinea and accolades for his first high-profile solo kitchen, Avenues. The resulting restaurant tones down the high-wire act that is Alinea while striking some familiar notes. Wine Spectator's Harvey Steiman reports.
