A new bill before the French Senate claims wine may pose a danger to public health, and calls for higher taxes on alcoholic beverages, stronger health warnings on labels and new restrictions on advertising. But winemakers are challenging the proposal, saying wine is an integral part of the country's culture and a vital part of its economy. Wine Spectator's Suzanne Mustacich reports.
