For centuries, wine marketing has often appealed to heritage and luxury. With the growing canned wine category, the pitch has often been convenience and portability. But few have opted for reptile-themed marketing, until now. In March, Boston-based canned wine company Archer Roose posted a video of co-owner and chief creative officer Elizabeth Banks, best known for films such as The Hunger Games and Pitch Perfect, introducing the brand’s new rewards program: Buy 100,000 cases of Archer Roose wine, get a live snake.
