What’s the best way to keep a bottle of white wine cold at the table?

There are lots of ways to keep a bottle of wine chilled! An ice bucket partially filled with water and ice is probably the most popular method—look for insulated or double-walled versions that limit condensation.
Some of my friends have marble wine coolers, which look really nice. Those need to be pre-chilled in a refrigerator or freezer (a damp cloth napkin or tea towel can be draped over the shoulders of the bottle to add some extra insulation). Less elegant are cooler sleeves with freezable gel packs, which kind of look like inflatable pool floats for a wine bottle.
Of course, I'm never opposed to putting a few ice cubes in a glass of wine: It might dilute the flavor a touch, but I'll take that over too-warm wine.
