Dear Dr. Vinny,
The recent Wine Spectator article on wine in cans, "Canned Wine Comes of Age," was very interesting. Are some wines better-suited to being canned than others?
Richard, Port Washington, Wisc.
Canned wines are an amazing success story. We’ve reviewed dozens of canned wines and so far we've found that white wines and rosés fared best. Overall, the wines are made in a “drink now” style, with fruit-forward profiles. And they've had a lot of appeal during this hot summer!
