This Northern Rhône producer made his reputation on Viognier, yet shows a deft hand with other grape varieties

Based in the village of Chavanay, Yves Cuilleron specializes in the Viognier produced on the granite and quartz slopes of Condrieu, just to the north. But he's equally adept at producing wines from Marsanne and Roussanne, the Northern Rhône's other white grapes, as well as Syrah.
