Southern Rhône whites can be a hodgepodge thanks to the region's numerous appellations and a mix of grapes that includes Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Picpoul, Bourboulenc and more. The basic flavor profile of Southern Rhône whites ranges from bracing textures and notes of chamomile and citrus, to richer versions with notes of peach, melon and almond.
