While insiders know the wines of Foreau and S.A. Huët well, for most wine lovers, Chenin Blanc remains the forgotten stepchild of noble white varieties. The Loire excelled in 2005 (as did all the major regions in France) and so it's no surprise that these two top producers have turned out some outstanding and classic wines.
