If you're looking for exciting, distinctive red wines, Spain delivers the goods. Not long ago, the only region that delivered consistent quality was Rioja, but now the line-up includes Ribera del Duero and Priorat at the highest levels, with Toro, Bierzo and Jumilla coming on strong.
