Outstanding full-bodied reds from some of southern France's top producers and the latest rosés from Provence

Some of the best wines from the south of France come from the small Provence appellation known as Bandol, which excels in making full-flavored, full-bodied reds based on the Mourvèdre grape. Domaine Tempier is Bandol's best and most storied producer; its wines have made a noticeable upswing in quality under the leadership of winemaker Daniel Ravier.
