Tasting Highlights: Pommard
These 2003 red Burgundies reveal a deep well of fruit supported by firm tannins
The vineyards of Pommard are split by a combe, essentially a valley with a stream (Avant Dheune) that cuts perpendicularly through the limestone. Though subtle differences exist in the wines, Pommard typically displays dense, sometimes rustic tannins.
