The 2005 vintage may turn out to be one of the best ever

I thought that the superhot 2003 vintage was one of the best ever for Piedmont's Barbera grape, but 2005 could turn out to be even better. The wines have the opulence of the 2003s but the balance and finesse of 2000, even 2001.
