Though only an hour's drive from Beaune, the landscape and climate encompassing the Pouilly-Fuissé and St.-Véran appellations is very different than the Côte d'Or. The rolling hills and amphitheaters of vines are punctuated by the dramatic rocky outposts of Solutré and Vergisson.
