Tasting Highlights: German Riesling

I haven't completed my blind tastings of the 2005 German Rieslings, but as I work my way through the hierarchy of prädikats, it is clear that the vintage offers some stunning wines. The top wines in each category are very ripe, to the point where the structures are submerged beneath the flesh and opulence.
