Here are three leading Loire Valley domaines that represent the best of what the region has to offer from its three main grapes—Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc. The 2003 Bourgueils from Catherine & Pierre Bréton show the ripe, powerful fruit of this hot vintage, but the terroir comes through as well, with iron and olive notes.
