We've come to expect exceptional Syrahs from California. In many respects this Rhône Valley transplant's rise in quality parallels that of Pinot Noir. It just keeps getting better. The dozen reds featured this week are mostly Syrahs or blends that include sister Rhône grapes such as Grenache.
