Here's a list of heavy-hitter Chardonnays, most from the 2006 vintage. The 2006 vintage is mixed in quality, as some vineyards struggled to ripen at harvest time and were hit by botrytis, but you wouldn't know it by looking at these releases from top producers such as Peter Michael, Kistler, Paul Hobbs, Aubert or Lewis.
