Tasting Highlights: Argentinean Malbec

Five exciting, high-quality reds from South America

Here are the latest Argentinean Malbecs to pass through my tastings. In the excellent 2002 vintage, established wineries such as Altos Las Hormigas, Bodegas y Viñedos O. Fournier and Alta Vista produced their best wines yet, while newcomer Bodega Noemía de Patagonia made a splashy entrance.
