It wasn't a casual decision to give the 2000 vintage in Piedmont a perfect 100 points. The Barolos from this classic vintage continue to amaze me each time I taste them. Never before have Piedmont's dedicated Nebbiolists produced wines with such ripeness, fullness, balance and solid structure; yet the wines remain in harmony in every way.
