California winemakers have raved about the 2007 Zinfandels since the grapes were picked, and the wines certainly showed great promise as I tasted the initial releases earlier this year. Now that I've tasted more than 100 of the 2007s, it's official: 2007 is proving to be the best and most consistent across the board Zinfandel vintage since 1994.
