Tasting Highlights: 2002 Sauternes

An overlooked vintage delivers some delicious dessert wines

Producers in Bordeaux's Sauternes and Barsac appellations may be finding the market response to their sweet wines from the 2002 vintage a little subdued, particularly because 2002 is sandwiched between two classic vintages, 2001 and 2003.
