Nine outstanding reds, including the five first-growths, make up the cream of this vintage's crop
The iconic wineries of Bordeaux seem to be able to make superb wines even in difficult vintages such as 2002. All it takes is determination and hard work. I tasted nearly 500 wines from 2002 in blind tastings in Bordeaux during autumn and the majority of the reds were only mediocre to good in quality.
