Anyone who missed out on the best 2000 Barolos last year will certainly want to buy some 2001s. The great Nebbiolo-based wines from this vintage have just recently been arriving in the U.S. market and they are outstanding--slightly less opulent and easygoing in style than the amazing 2000s but superb Barolos all the same.
