Spectacular '97 Port Just about every major Port house has declared the vintage of 1997. That means that the producers of Portugal's famous fortified wines -- from Fonseca to Ferreira, from Cockburn to Churchill, Taylor Fladgate and Quinta do Noval and Niepoort and the rest -- think the year's quality was high enough to justify not blending it with any other years.
