For wine lovers who want an in-depth look at some of California's Central Coast wine regions, the Santa Barbara County Vintners Association has released two posters featuring detailed maps of the two local American Viticultural Areas -- the Santa Maria Valley and the Santa Ynez Valley.

"The motivation for doing this," said SBCVA executive director Pam Maines, "is that people have become familiar with vineyards that supply the grapes for a lot of the wines that are getting press around here, but the vineyards cant be found on the wine-touring maps."

The two maps together feature 134 vineyards. Each poster measures 24 inches by 36 inches and sells for $10 plus tax and shipping. For more information or to order the maps, call (805) 688-0881 or (800) 218-0881.
