South African husband-and-wife team breaks away from a co-op to make their own wines
Who: Scali is owned and operated by the husband-and-wife team of Willie, 38, and Tania de Waal, 36, who married in 1993. They produce about 2,500 cases a year from the estate, which has been owned by the de Waal family since 1877.
