Santa Barbara icon Bruno D'Alfonso is making a new Pinot Noir, but with the same old passion and determination

Who: Badge is a new Pinot Noir label by winemaker Bruno D'Alfonso, who was the winemaker at Sanford winery in Santa Barbara, Calif., for 23 years (1983-2005). D'Alfonso graduated from the enology program at the University of California, Davis, in 1980, then worked as assistant winemaker at Edna Valley Vineyards before working at Sanford.
