New Wines, New Faces: Alvaro Palacios Heads to the Hills -- Again

The Spanish vintner who helped establish Priorat's reputation picked another on which to make his mark.

Alvaro Palacios is not exactly a new face -- we introduced him to you back in 1998 when his 1995 Priorat L'Ermita scored 97 points, our highest score ever for a newly released Spanish wine. But now Palacios has a new project in Bierzo, located in the northwest corner of Spain.
