The Australian Wine Bureau has released a new guide for travelers to any of Australia's 40 wine regions. The Australian Wine Holiday Guide is a 73-page spiral-bound publication listing tasting-room hours and contact information for more than 130 wineries.

The free guide also includes restaurant recommendations, travel tips -- such as a reminder that Australians drive on the left side of the road -- and hints about what to do with Vegemite, Lamingtons and Balmain Bugs (you eat them).

An extra feature is a contact list of importers, so that fans of Aussie wines can find their favorites back in the United States. For a free copy of the guide, contact the Australian Wine Bureau -- call (212) 351-6585, send e-mail to awb.usa@austrade.gov.au or visit www.wineaustralia.com.
