'Tis the season to be jolly as well as generous, so with that in mind, Wine Spectator brings you a few different forms of holiday cheer. A festive mood can be hard to sustain with a chill in the air, so we present a list of robust, full-bodied reds to help warm up your palate, along with a selection of inexpensive yet tasty reds that are great for gatherings.

Since it's the time of year for giving, we've pulled together a few stocking stuffers for wine lovers, ranging from books to openers to pourers to chillers. Wine doesn't get any darker than this dense behemoth. For fans of chewy, inky, extracted yet elegant wines with grapey, peppery plum, wild berry, herb and spicy floral notes.
