Q:I have one bottle of 1981 Bollinger Extra Brut Champagne R.D. in its original wood box. This was the Champagne served at the wedding for Prince Charles and Lady Diana. Does it have any collectable value?— Ronald Gromfin, Beverly Hills, Calif.

A: As your bottle has an element of historical curiosity that could affect the value, I checked with Acker, Merrall & Condit, which sold a six-bottle lot of Bollinger '81 for $956 on April 21, 2007. John Kapon, Acker's president, said that the Prince of Wales Champagne is probably worth between $150 and $200 a bottle, maybe even between $200 and $260 with the wedding emphasized.
