Buying Futures
Very few Bordeaux vintners expect much of a futures market for their 2002 wines right now, given the economy and the war in Iraq. Although the wines are good to outstanding, according to senior editor James Suckling, he feels that tying up money in the young vintage makes little sense at the moment.
