Arrowood Opens New Tasting Room

Arrowood Vineyards & Winery, in California's Sonoma Valley, has opened a new 6,300-square-foot tasting room and hospitality center. The winery, best known for its Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, was founded in 1986 by Dick Arrowood, who previously made wine at Chateau St. Jean, also in Sonoma, for 16 years.

The new, airy tasting facility replaces the converted kitchen that formerly served the purpose. Arrowood is located in one of Northern California's most scenic wine regions. Sonoma Valley is similar to Napa Valley, though smaller, less developed and closer to San Francisco. Other top wineries in the area include B.R. Cohn and St. Francis.
